This blade was forged by Kanesaki, a Mino (modern day Gifu Prefecture) swordsmith. There were several generations using the name Kanesaki, and the Japanese dealer evaluated this sword as coming from the Muromachi period.
The tsuba and fuchikashira are likely Edo period.
