The Fire Oni katana is made from sx105v alloy tool steel with an early termination bohi and mounted in gold and silver highlighted brass fittings.
With an HRC of 58, it has the hardness to hold a sharp cutting edge; yet it can be bent to 70 degrees without deformation. It has an impact resistance of 90 joules. This allows for repeated blows against harder targets.
